Dimitri Alexander is a multi-disciplined creative from Brooklyn, NY. Over the last 14 years, he spent his time designing visualizations, strategies, and experiences for brands such as AT&T, Cadillac, Detroit Lions, and Rémy Martin.
Dimitri attended the High School for Art and Design in Manhattan for illustration, before finding his passion in fashion, film media, and advertising design. He spent the majority of his time after graduation, shooting videos, editing videos, and designing promotional materials for musicians, clubs, and local parties. A few years later, Dimitri attended New York City College of Technology in Downtown Brooklyn, where he graduated with honors; he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design. Dimitri minored in advertising design, which allowed him to participated in the Multicultural Advertising Internship Program (MAIP) during the summer after graduation. He soon received a job opportunity as a junior art director in Detroit, MI, with Campbell Ewald. Within one year, he was promoted and was on his first solo shoot. Since then, he has had many opportunities to work across the United States and has collaborated on various projects across the borders.
During the past few years, Dimitri has spent his career focusing on product design as a lead user experience strategist specializing in storytelling and design. He has worked for numerous video entertainment organizations championing product innovation and human-centered design. These days, Dimitri is spending his energy on projects that allow him to study emerging behaviors and explored new forms of human-computer interaction. His design goal to make complicated things simple. His technology goal is to design easy to use products and intelligent systems that enhance the way people work, play, and think.
