Back in 2015, the Phelps agency was developing a product software management tool and redesigning a point-of-sale system for Public Storage. I was hired by the agency to help lead and design the branded P.O.S. system for Public Storage, as well as assist in maintaining updates to the management tool. Public Storage wanted to create a new user interface system that was "customer-focused." The customer-facing U.I. had to be simple enough for any new employee to guide a customer due to easily follow the required protocol when signing up for storage space.
Public Storage loved the approached. After launching the product, Public Storage grew on-site conversion rate from 1.2% to 7.5% making over $2.561B, a 7.51% increase of revenue from 2015.
